At Sharman Shore

Kevin Sharman, T.R.M.F. member and geologist, has been very active in exploring the Tumbler Ridge area for fossil sites. On July 10th, he took the palaeontologists and some of the volunteers from the dinosaur dig on a tour of the Quintette Coal Mine near Tumbler Ridge. One of the main attractions was a large rippled surface with several starfish trace fossils. There are plans to document this site during one of the upcoming field seasons.
