The Second Annual Fossil Road Show

On September 3rd, 2003 the Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation and the Tumbler Ridge Public Library hosted the Second Annual Fossil Road Show. Once again residents and visitors brought a variety of rocks and fossils for identification by the T.R.M.F.'s panel of palaeontologists and geologists.

Some of the highlights of the Second Annual Fossil Road Show were a fragment of a Mastodon molar brought by a visitor from Saskatchewan. There was also a variety of Triassic fish fragments brought in by some participants.
