The Peace Region Palaeontology Research Centre is committed to participating in and developing public outreach programs which are aimed at educating people about British Columbia's fossils.

P.R.P.R.C. researchers have given several public lectures on the palaeontology of the Peace Region in many different towns and cities in western Canada (see Seminars & Talks). Sometimes these lectures coincide with a "Fossil Road Show", where the residents of an area bring in fossils to be identified by the palaeontologists.

The P.R.P.R.C. scientists have also participated in professional development days for primary school teachers in the Peace Region. They have also given a number of classroom lectures and tracksite tours for Elementary School classes. They also have an active role in designing appropriate content for the "Summer Dinosaur Camps", hosted by the Northern Lights College.
